It\u2019s 2016, and Maggie Rogers (then a student at NYU\u2019s Clive Davis Institute) is showing her new song \u201cAlaska\u201d to Pharrell Williams during a masterclass. You can watch his genuine, real-time reaction as he realizes he\u2019s hearing something special. The video later went viral and helped launch her career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What gets me is the rawness of it. <br\/>No edits, no production layer. You can feel it was real. <br\/><br\/>This is why I love the internet as an archive of unfiltered moments. term \u201cgenerative music\u201d back in the \u201870s, talking about creativity as pure expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They discuss social media, creativity in the AI era, and the nature of making things. It\u2019s a genuinely calming conversation.<br\/><br\/>In the interview, Ezra mentions he\u2019s been listening to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=n7muS3u0Wxo\">Cmon<\/a> on repeat.
